Rachel Cannon Ghulamani, M.S., LMHC

Rachel has worked extensively with children, families, and individuals for the past 14 years. She graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Florida. She went on to obtain her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University in 2005, while working full-time in the field of social work.

Rachel spent a year completing a practicum at Shands at Vista in the children’s inpatient mental health unit. Rachel started working at Family Preservation Services of Florida in 2010 where she worked with adults and children providing in home clinical therapy. She obtained her license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor during this time and continued to work with individual and family therapy.

She also began completing bio psychosocial assessments, comprehensive behavioral health assessments, and also working full time as a trainer in social work for the University of South Florida.

Rachel has a life-long passion for helping adults and children gain independence, happiness, and self-actualization.

Our therapist has many years of experience working with clients who are struggling with everyday life events and mental illness symptoms.
